durlum supports a charitable project

In keeping with previous years, and as an innovative and ecologically managed company, durlum makes a deliberate choice to support The Ocean Cleanup, a charitable project, instead of sending out gifts.

After minor start-up difficulties with this 'ocean vacuum cleaner', the weaknesses have now all been identified and remedies. Since June, this suction device has been successfully removing plastic from the Pacific.
In addition, the organisation led by Boyan Slat has been using a collection fixture known as the Interceptor to trap refuse where it very often enters our oceans - in the rivers.
