50 years of durlum

“Based in the Black Forest. At home worldwide!” – no better anniversary motto could be formulated. In April last year, durlum celebrated its 50th anniversary with 330 customers and employees in the Stadthalle [civic centre] in Schopfheim – with guests from home and abroad.

As well as words of welcome from District Administrator Marion Dammann and the boss of the Schopfheim International Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Uwe Böhm, the workforce also congratulated the Board of Management on the successful history of their company. The highlight here was a company choir assembled especially for this anniversary, including a new interpretation of the birthday song 'Celebrate'. The celebrations were rounded off by a fire show by Zirkus Papperlapapp from Bad Säckingen. Cover band Volume 6 provided the right mood on the dance floor.

The future family succession of the company is already in place: Stefanie, Julia and Andrea, the daughters of Matthias Reuter, have been working in the company since their studies, and at some future date, they will swell the ranks of the existing Board of Management.

An altogether successful event for everyone who was there.
