Completed in 2022, the Ligue HMC campus in Capellen, Luxembourg, is an important place for people with learning difficulties. The new building combines care, work and social participation in an open, inviting architecture.
The building complex was developed around the historic Villa Bourg and is embedded in a park-like landscape. Generously proportioned windows, plenty of daylight and a clearly defined structure combine to create bright, friendly interior spaces in which it is a pleasure to spend time. The choice of ceiling systems also contributes to this outcome: The customised S4 RHOMBOS expanded metal ceiling delivers a precision, high-quality ceiling appearance. The POLYLAM vertical louvre system structures the rooms and sets striking design accents. The special design of dur-SOLO raft ceilings enhances interior acoustics and at the same time blends harmoniously into the overall architectural concept.
The Campus Ligue HMC therefore embodies architecture that communicates a sense of social responsibility and of high-quality interior design.
