The Bond is an innovative six-storey timber-framed office building located in a suburban business park approximately 30 km from Sydney.
The main objective of this project was to demonstrate the viability of sustainable workplace buildings in a suburban environment.
durlum supplied the corridors of the building with rectangular metals panels in the acoustically effective S4 hook system. The panels range in length from 1315 mm to 2233 mm and were customised to fit the various angles of the corridors throughout the building. A total of 240 different panel types and 565 individual panels were installed on the six floors of the building.
The Bond shows that sustainable, ultra-modern and vibrant architecture is the future of office design.
