The new radiation therapy center MCH Antoniushove in Leidschendam near Den Haag provides patient-friendly treatment for cancer patients. The different oncology areas are now all located in the new building to guarantee comprehensive patient treatment. To make radiotherapy as comfortable as possible for the patient, the rooms have been equipped with durlum's largesurface LUMEO® luminaires whose friendly and calming motifs create a pleasant atmosphere.
In the functionally equipped irradiation rooms, the LUMEO® illuminated surfaces serve as a luminescent comforter. Their diameter of 1.5 meters makes the luminaires an excellent design object in the rooms: Integrated in the ceiling above the linear accelerators, they are located in the patients' field of vision to distract their attention from possible fears. The surface made of translucent DUROSATIN® enhances the lively and natural character of the print graphics. Their easy-to-clean design makes the luminaires the ideal equipment for clinical environments. The classic round design of the LUMEO® luminaires creates a real feel-good effect – in the truest sense of the word.
